Strikes me that having the Commonwealth Games in the same year and just after the World Cup, and starting them whilst the Tour de France is still going, is not the smartest piece of sports administration I've ever seen.

I'm finding it hard to get interested.:eek:
 
Even when I lived in Edinburgh, while they were held there, and my then girlfriend was in them, I found it hard to get interested ;)

Our football arena was built decades ago when we hosted them. Still standing and in use. We're bidding again for 2022 or something.
