Not a double album, though Capitol Records reissued it as a double, packaged with Barrett....that pressing was technically two single LPs packaged together, like A Nice Pair.

But it's hard to argue against the importance of The White Album for setting the standard.

Best octuple album goes to Pearl Jam's Vitalogy as there are at least 8 copies in every used record bin.
