    Any Facebook gurus here?

I'm polar opposites on religious and political topics with a particular FB friend and it bothers them to see my posts on pages related to these subjects in their feed. Is it possible to set Facebook on either my end or their end - short of defriending - so that they don't see my posts on political/religion pages in their feed?

    Thanks.

The easiest way to accomplish what you want is for your friend to find a post of yours on their home page (newsfeed). If they hover the mouse over the post, a little arrow will pop up in the upper-right corner of the post. If they click that, a little menu will drop down. They should click "Hide" and that will hide all of your stories from their newsfeed.

A further option will then appear saying "Change what updates you get from brassplyer" and they can click that to allow things like status updates, photos, or other stuff to appear while blocking your other posts from appearing!

It sounds kind of confusing, but I promise it isn't!

You, sir, have just given an answer that will solve the world's problem, probably even turning it into world peace! I tip my hat to you, gentlemen.

Or just stop posting about politics and religion - I mean who really wants to see it?

Thanks. I think I found an even better way. The way you suggested seemed to remove some but not all of the person's appearances. This one seems to sweep it clean.

    Step 1.

Hover the pointer over the person's name and when the box comes up...

    Step 2.

...hover over the "friends" label at the bottom, then another box will come up with various options. Un-check "Show in news feed"

Any mic you buy will be perfectly suited to your needs, until you use it long enough to learn that it's not.

I believe so. I had no interest in it until someone begged me to go on. It's actually interesting. You can make connections with people you haven't been in contact with in a long time....and you can piss people off - lol.
