Northern lights

Anybody see the northern lights last night? I’m from around the Vancouver area in BC

I’m not north enough, but I did see them once when I was on a trip. Incredible sight.

The local weatherman said that we'd be able to see it here in north Texas IF it wasn't overcast. Regrettably.

It seems that every time there's a celestial event it's always cloudy here. With my luck it'll probably be clear sky when that meteor hits.

We were supposed to be able to see them in southern England last night.
It was fairly clear, but I saw nothing. Didn't spend too long looking though.

Living in North London, I see the northern lights every night. I switch them off before I go to bed though.

Skies have been going crazy in the Southern hemisphere. People have been plastering their aurora pix all over Facebook. Neither my camera or phones does good night pix, so this is a pic my son took on his phone.

I didn't go outside last night to try to see the lights. I'm in the city, so the ambient light is pretty strong much of the time. Plus I had an early tee time, so I went to bed by 11. There were a LOT of pics on the TV news this morning.

Used my eclipse glasses, safety first. Didn't see much, but looked pretty cool in shades.
