Errrrm... I would agree on the Lars front, how he has remained such a shite/uninspiring/simple drummer after so many years of playing is absolutely beyond me, but unless someone who knows their rock history better than myself can chip in here, I was of the belief that he contributed a whole lot...

zoiks - It's something I've thought about, but to be honest I feel that if I was to add anything else to my sound I'd rather have someone else who knows there stuff do it, instead of me learning another instrument or program! I definitely love acoustic instruments though, and a strings section...

I dont think the reverb is overdone personally...surely this is the effect you were going for with it no?

Just listened to both versions of leaves, and i can see how you liked your version better. I totally agree dude, and I reckon that IS the sound that you're going for...more energy, less empty feeling, better performances... As has been mentioned, I think the vocals were performed CONSIDERABLY...

thanks man, appreciate it. regarding playing bass with a guitar, i tried that a few years ago and although it does the job, i dont think you can replace an actual bass guit sound, and i dont have one! cheers
