Thank you guys very much. I will check all that out. It does take a second to get going while rewinding and it'll get going to normal speed in about 4 seconds or so. Fastforward won't go. It trys, but won't. But it plays/records absolutley fine. Is there any website I can go to for advice...

Hey Beck thanks for the quick response, i appreciate it. My 388 is fully functional again. The only real hitch in it now is that sometimes it's a bit sluggish in the Rewind/Fastfoward areas. Any idea why?

Also.. How do you go about getting the actual reel table off? Just with the allen keys that are underneath the table? It seems difficult to find the hole and turn, I was just curious if there was an easier way. Thanks.

Alright.. Ok, I replaced all the fuses, the four 3amp 250V Slow blow fuses, and one 4amp 250V slow blow, but that didn't seem to work. These are the fuses that are on the top right hand side of the machine, are these the only one's you meant to check? They're the only fuses that I'm aware of...
