I use the drummer perspective... but my (virtual) drummer is left handed! I think most listeners have never stood on a stage during a performance so it probably sounds a little more natural that way. cheers barry http://www.soundclick.com/studiobjazzproject

Recommend some microphones for tenor vocals?

Have you heard about the Dave Thomas (Advanced Audio) mod of the Apex 460? I have a pair, and although the dealing with DT/AA was a pain in the ass, now that it's all said and done, these mics are the best vocal mics in my collection. They easily win out over my Neumann U-87 and Røde NTK at...

I quit persuing music as a livelyhood when I came to the amazing realization that it was easier to work and...

no sound from MIDI controller in Logic Pro

A midi controller isn't the same as a midi instrument... You need to see a connection from the specific port or the SUM to the Logic sequencer. Back channel me if you're still having problems. I'll help you get it working. cheers Barry

    MTD basses are spectacular!

I just restrung my MTD and while doing the typical restringing cleaning and maintenance I was struck (again) by the beautiful workmanship. If you haven't played one, do yourself a favor and seek one out and get it in your hands. My 635 fretted and 535 fretless are by far the best sounding...
