Many of you knew me as Terry Standley. Long Story short I went back to my birth name which is Mingus. The name changes but the man remains the same. Although Clairol for men is beginning to look like an option LOLSpiritually centered, Like to have fun. Love to play music that touches people in places in their hearts they've forgotten existed.Musically I would have to say i was most influenced by a guy I went to High School with named Stewart Soon. He taught me most of the basics about playing guitar and performing in front of an audience. Other artists who influenced me range from Local Hawaiin artist like Cecilo and Kapono, Billy Kaui and keolu and kapono Beamer, Syster, Coopers Still and of course Gabby Pahanuii. I was also Influnced by Crosby,Stills, Nash and Young, Loggins and Messina, James Taylor, Jim Croce, John Denver, Billy Joel, Kenny Rogers, Clint Black and the list goes on. I have lots of recordings of my versions of lot's of old hits just ask me for them.
