    Is Garageband an Acceptable Recording Tool?

    Does anyone know if it has been used in a pro studio scenario? Are there downfalls? Right now it is the easiest solution for me, so I am weighing the pros and cons. I am recording into my mac via a Alesis USB mixer. Thanks! Bye!

    I have an Alesis Multimix 16USB, is there a way to multitrack directly into my computer, or would I have to go DAT, mix and then dump it in? Help! I don't want to get stuck with everything in ONE TRACK! :eek:
