I have the interface! I must say, TOTALLY worth it. It's just awesome, if you're a solo musician, or if you like recording instruments one by one, it does a perfect job!
Can anyone tell me what's the difference between these two?
All I know so far that they're almost the same..
The 57 beta is used for instruments too, and I'd like to use them for vocals (both live and recording).
Please help me choose.
As I said in the main post, it is powered by a 1.5v AA battery. It crackles when I insert a battery, hums when I touch the metallic part of its head, but does not recognize any sound..
It is solid (like any japanese craft), and when I saw it has no name, I knew it wouldn't be good, was really curious what it is. Too bad it doesn't work :c

So I took the 58 out from the list, since the beta 57A would be better. And some others too! I found better mics with your help, so considering a SDC, a good studio mike, and two all-purpose mics, here's my new list:
Shure sm57 (all-purpose)
Shure beta 57a (same as above, but more for vocals...
I just found this "thing" yesterday, never seen anything like it before. Could someone tell me what it is, what is it good for?
