I've had nothing but good experiences with Sweetwater. Everything from little one-off orders to guitars to entire PA systems. I was treated with respect and I appreciate that alot. Jolly Ranchers make my teeth hurt though.

OK I'll ask. Why are you building a bass based on one of the crappiest basses ever made by Gibson? I played one for a couple of years and it was awful. Kinda cool looking but awful playing and sounding.

After reading your OP I'm rethinking my reply. Forget the conditioner for now. Are these clicks showing up on peaks in the waveform or out in the middle of nowhere (silence)? Just one pop/click at a time or many in a row?
