Philips recorder with lead that doesn't fit!? My Philips CDR has a rectangular format connector which UK shops describe as "Toslink" and the Fostex manual with my VR800 describes as "S/P DIF" = Sony / Philips Digital Interface. Any ways Toslink at both ends works for me. Did you solve it...
