if a piezoelectric pickup for an acoustic guitar, under the bridge, is covered in rubber, would this affect the sound quality, seeing that it is a contact pickup? :rolleyes:

is it true that you can only use the protools software when using the Mbox, or would i be able to record into cubase or samplitude? Also how good are the pre-amps in the Mbox? thanks

i own a fender fv-1 electric violin. i struggle to get a nice tone when recording direct in. does anyone have any suggestions? i thought of getting a better preamp, or maybe replacing the pickup on the violin? :confused:
