Hey everybody, I wanted to take some time today to write a review and possibly start a discussion on the Mitchell MD100-SCE acoustic guitar, which is probably the most surprising instrument I have ever played. I have owned this guitar for way over a year now, so this is not a "honeymoon" review...

Hey, very nice. Great playing. I also use amplitube. Don't have the fender version though. I like the amplitube sounds better than guitar rig but I loatheeeee amplitube's interface.

6L6/El34tubes sometimes will glow bluish normally although less frequently for the 34s. el84s/12ax7s will usually glow orange, some will have blue near the base. No PURPLE should be seen on any of these tubes. None should be glowing excessively around the plate (at the base of the tube), this is...

Did you mean Thunderbird, the Mozilla email client? I use it and have had that problem before (not with line6 h/e). Clearing all of my emails and restarting my computer fixed it. Weird glitch.

I concur. Btw the pots were probably just dirty and needed to be cleaned with contact cleaner. However if they were crappy pots you should just replace them anyway.

I've been saying for years that they are over-the-top with their features. Look at the Road King for example, it took me 40 minutes to dial in a standard heavy rock tone. Pots for this, switches for that, on and on and on. Four channels? :eek: But there are good sides. Once I found what I was...

It's one of the better solid state heavy distortion amps I've heard lately. Still no match for a nice tube amp with cascading gain stages, but if you prize reliability and zero maintenance... maybe this would be your amp until you can afford the real thing. I'm usually one of the solid state...

I think that these are some of the better beginner's solid state amps.

ughhh that styling....so over-the-top californiaish. It would be interesting to hear it in action though.
