I had ableton live 8.1.2 and i had a ton of instrument sounds and effects that didnt transfer over when i updated to ableton live 8.2.1. any ideas how to get them over there?

I tried to put specific drums over the existing racks and do it that way but I cant. My manual say Ableton Reference Manual version 8. I have the APC20

I dont have the full version. Idk if that makes a difference but on the manual it talks about dragging the folder into a midi track to make a new drum rack but i cant. Maybe its because i dont have the full version idk...

I have the Akai Professional APC Edition. I got it with my APC20 I bought

when I go into note mode on my APC20 every row is one note (say like C#) and I want each button to be a different note. how do I change that? and how do I assign a button to a specific thing like if im playing a drum beat i assign bass to this note ride to that note, etc....

Is the upgrade free? I bought Ableton Live 8 and authorized it on line. It seems sorta cheap if I have to buy more.

In my ableton live 8 it only allows me 8 audio/midi effects in one live session. Why? how do I fix this? is there a way around this?
