As the former Associate Chair of MTSU’s 1,500 student Department of Recording Industry, and a current professor of Audio Engineering at Belmont University, over the last 10 years Nathan has taught hundreds of students topics ranging from Introductory and Advanced Studio techniques, to Audio for Video & Advanced Pro Tools.

Author of 2 Focal Press books (Pro Tools 9: The Mixers Toolkit and Multi-Platinum Pro Tools), he has been featured as an audio professional on MSNBC’s Tonight with Deborah Norville (with over 820,000 Youtube views).

Nathan has engineered and edited projects including the orchestral score for “Peter Pan with Cathy Rigby“, along with albums, tracks, TV and radio spots for artists including:

Collin Raye, Debbie Boone, Neal McCoy, The Oak Ridge Boys, Earl Scruggs, the Grascals, Jim Stafford, Larry Gatlin, Dusty Rogers Jr., Moe Bandy, Carrie Tillis, Les Brown Jr, and many others.

He is the producer and editor of numerous video series, including the Telly Award winning “Learn and Master Guitar“, the internationally distributed “Multi-Platinum Pro Tools” book and DVD’s, and the “Presley Country Jubilee” TV series for RFD Networks, airing weekly in 13 countries.

Nathan is the owner of the Walnut House recording & event complex in Murfreesboro, Tennessee (www.walnuthousemusic.com), and a passionate supporter of overseas missions in the Philippines and Africa including harvesthouse.ph and thetorchbearer.org.
