Really great sound and style and catchy songs too! The mix is good too, the only thing I could say is that it is a bit bright overall and seems to be missing some lower end, especially in the drums.

Love this song! And overall it's a nice rendition of this song. Not too different from the original, but has your signature style. I would add some more compression to the vocals so the quieter parts can be heard, and add some to the bass as well. Then I would add more overall compression...

So here's a new mix. I took out some frequencies that were too high and used some dynamic compression, and fixed up a whole number of other things. The only things I didn't do as suggested were to pan the acoustic, since I like how the mix sounds later in the song with the acoustic centered and...

Sounds professional for sure! I would just brighten up the guitars with a high shelf and maybe remove a bit of muddiness in the drums/bass in the low mids. Other than that just about perfect mix!

I think the vocals sound great, but I think the chords behind it clash with the melody. Try using the chord progression B, F#, G#m, E (1, 5, 6, 4 progression).

Put a high pass filter on the bass and kick. Too much low end, and too loud. The guitar tone seemed too thin. Did you cut a bunch of low frequencies? Also as was said before, hard pan the guitars both far left and far right and bring up in the mix. You'll want to separate the EQ on each, maybe...

Thanks! Probably just as you were writing this I was uploading a mix 22 in place of 21 which reduced the bass a bit, because I only noticed it when playing through my less expensive speakers with a sub. So the link to the 2nd one has changed.
