umm, how can i explain this to you first of all, for your hearing pleasure, you can adjust the monitor output under the volume control in your accessories/entertainment folder on the start menu... as far as recording levels, well you should adjust the ouput on your mic pre... i have no problems...

this is funny...a bunch of people who have never used this product complaining about it i've owned a yamaha 4416, digi 002, have recorded on all kinds of pro tools hd systems with apogee converters and the sound quality and ease of use with the emulator x 1212m is not far off from any of those...

probably great for acoustics, not great for vocals if you're looking for flavor try the summit audio 2ba-221 altomusic will sell it to you for 470...that's 120 below what everyone else sells it for

and it pretty much sucks a-s with a Rode NTK
