Hi, people! I´m starting with Cakewalk and I have a doubt. Supposing I record all audio tracks with highest volume possible (avoiding clipping). Even so, my final mix has a low volume. How to increase it? Thanks in advance.

My houses electric system is really bad, not grounded. So, when I turn my Marshall amp on, a "hum" is inevitable. I´d like to know if it´s a software that I can use, while or after recording, that filters that hum off, mainly at the silence parts of the track.

I don´t know anything about this, so I´d like to know what can I do with S/PDIF outputs that is not possible with conventional outputs.

Anyone heard anything about that motherboard. It´s to use with AMD K6/2 500. If anyone has any comments, I´d be really appreciated.

What soundcards do you suggest? I don´t need more than 4 inputs. The ones I´ve heard about are Aardvark 24/90, Gadgetlabs Wave 424 and the ones from Echo. Do you have any other suggestions/comments?

Does anyone know how much ($$$) is it worth?
