Is it possible to hook my portable discman up to a couple of speakers, if so how? is the quality as good as a hi-fi system if the quality of the discman is good.can anyone reccomend some reasonably priced speakers for the job. My discman is a sony E-2000(I think) I dont think it has a line out .

O.k I've got a pretty good mic(shure).Unfortunately no p.a. I need to amplify the mic for garage practice. I've been using a practice guitar amp, is there a better way without spending what I dont have?What about regular stereo speakers ,can I hook these up? Open to all if any suggestions
