Used, but works perfectly and has very few marks of use. PM for pictures. I'm asking $125 plus shipping. I think these are usually $300 new.
in peace,

For sale; Cinnamon Brian Moore i81, the neck pickup has been upgraded to a Seymour Duncan Jazz. Other than a little nick on the upper side, it's in perfect condition and has been well cared for. The soft case will go with it - it's a very heavily padded case, i'm just as comfortable with my...
I hate to part with this mic, it's the best vocal dynamic mic I've heard (short of maybe an SM7). Most anyone you talk to will tell you it has a lot more clarity than an SM58, I'd certainly agree. I don't use it much anymore because I do quiet folk/pop songs, but if I were to record any rock...
has anyone used the different versions of the Allen & Heath Mixwizards? are the improvements in the new WZ3 really that dramatic? where are the improvements?
so i've decided that i'm kind of tired of only having 8 tracks (adat), and at the same time im tired of digital. So im thinking a 16 track reel to reel sounds fantastic. But getting an affordable 16 track like the fostex e-16 or g-16 makes me nervous because it's still only 1/2 inch. Ive been...
Im looking at the RP-220 and the RP-520. Besides the VU meters on the RP-520, is there really any difference? Im thinking i can get them for close to the same price. Ive heard good things about the RP-220 but mostly bad things about the RP-520, which is the higher priced model. Is anyone...
But now i've learned that it has DBX noise reduction as opposed to Dolby, which ive been told is better that DBX. Is it true that DBX is known to muddy the sound? I'd love a reel to reel but i'd prefer to not have to choose between tape hiss or noise reduction mud.
Does anyone know anything about building your own monitors? I currently have M-Audio BX5a's and their pretty good, but i'm feeling an upgrade in the near future, and i'd very much like to build my own. This would indeed be cheaper, right? if anyone could help me out i'd very much appriciate it.
two tube preamps, based on sound alone, which would you prefer? is one better at one thing and the other better at another perhaps? I want to record a pretty wide range of sounds - acoustic guitars, vocals, drums, bass, choirs, orchestral instruments, distorted guitars (and distorted versions of...
So I record using a mixer and an ADAT. ADAT's of course have no input level control or anything to that effect. My mixer doesnt have direct outs so I just turn the preamp gain hot without clipping, then adjust the channel and stereo out so the output volume level doesnt cause the signal to clip...
I don't use a computer. I mix with an ADAT and a mixer. I use my mixer for front end and actual mixing. Would it be very strange to have a small mixer for the front end and then a slightly larger one for mixing? instead of one really big mixer? is that common at all? maybe this is a dumb question.
