Nero has a wave editor that you can put down track splits. Drag and drop the whole track into compile window in nero(full view). Click on the edit button. Click in the song where you want to split it, then go to edit, insert track split. Save and your done

SATA drive is not that much more than a standard IDE Drive. That is if you have not already bought the IDE drive. Just my 2 cents
