I have click enabled, but I can't hear anything. My friend who uses Pro Tools says he records the click to a new track with a cowbell sample. Is this truly the way? This somehow doesn't seem right to me. I'm a very new Pro Tools user who just recently acquired an ancient version.

I'm a drummer. When I'm recording to the internal click track I don't want to hear the drums in the headphones. They're loud enough outside. Plus they drown out the click and other instruments. I know to use the Track Cue for monitoring, but those virtual faders don't seem to affect the tracks...
