Thank you all! Despite of your mostly rock backgrounds, these are true words :-) E.g. Shockwave could indeed be a more darker track when it's mixed another way. Somehow chose to mix it clear and not like 'turn it up' by Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike for example.

I always google 'best free ... vst' and most of the time I land on sites where there's a top 10 list describing shortly what each plugin does etc. For example that's how I found this 'Knufinke SIR1' reverb plugin!

Since you're going to use it for recording etc, very important to take a good look at the soundcard that comes with it, or you can use an external (not very useful on the road but still)

they do ofcourse. But as soon as they are linked to a controller and i open my project at a later time, they get the value from the controller again which doesnt match to the one o set earlier ( working with different presets on the behringer)
