You guys have any experience with it?
For lead vocals, deeper voice.
Is it exposed enough in the industry to have a reputation, good support, positive future?
Well, yeah lol. Figured a specific title for the thread such as Peter Gabriel would get the specific ppl in here I wanted. Since many pry don't even know who he is.
The other thread was a more direct hit to the nt1000. This thread however rolled back into it.
If you want real funny.....I made...
Ok thanks. Since I sing more like peter Gabriel's mellow more intimate stuff I'm wondering what I would like better then the nt1000 or something like a sm57
A dude on YouTube who's got some high quality videos was comparing a couple mics, one was the sm7b. He was saying you will hav the hiss sound unless you had some big dog preamps or something like in real studios. I will try to link the video.
I saw some thread that had ppl claiming he used a 47, then talking about 57s and such. If Im correct, these are by shure?
Now, is that what they believe he used in the studio for recording?
Can you record good vocals with dynamics like that at home on a budget without tons of hiss?
Anyways...
So i saw a guy saying the rode NT1000 is not a vocal mic, that it has a very rocky frequency response.
From the reviews Ive watched it sure sounded good to me.
Is this guy full of poop?
i started researching that one, NT1000, is it warmer to you than the nt1a and nt1?
Can you name any others used or new under 300 that would not be so bright, but not super flat either?
Well I've been listening to the rode nt1a and it's to harsh to me. So basically looking for something under 300 that fits my deeper slightly raspy voice. Used is fine I guess. All your guys input is greatly appreciated.
thank you as well for your time. I can get a rode NT1 for under 200 used from GC. Just saying. It seems they are extremely popular. I will look into what you guys hav said too.
