If you use a sequencer live then I would find the closest sounding patch or create one that sounds close and then sequence it. I have covered this song in the past not on a Karma but on a Trinity and this worked well for me. Without a sequencer it could be difficult to pull off imho

Hi,
I'm a long time cakewalk user but I'm thinking of buying a copy of n-track ( I'm downloading the evaluation version right now), and was wondering about a couple of things.
1. I know n-track supprts dxi's and fx but can you use vsti's and fx with this program?
2. If you were to use it...
Hi,
Go into the windows mixer and check to see that you don't have the "Record What you hear", or something similar checked. If it is, uncheck it and see if that resolves your problem.

I've been using the KX drivers with my SBLive and Sonar 2.2 XL for a while now. I can highly recommend them if you want to get low latency out of your SB. My latency is 5.66 ms.
The mixer as Hoodoo said is a bit odd at first and the dsp routing is a bit daunting but with that said, they have a...
A brave statement indeed! Do as bsr2002 said and go check them out side by side. I see many more pros using Trinity/Tritons and motifs than the Kurz's. Let your ears be the judge.
just my opinion.
You can use vsti's with Cakewalk if you have a vsti wrapper. I have the fxpansion wrapper. This allows me use both dxi and vsti's in Sonar.

In Sonar 2.2 there is a panic button in the play/record bar. Its next to the audio engine on/off button. It has a yellow exclamation mark on it. I sometimes get stuck notes when playing midi files if I stop during play. This always gets me out of trouble.
I've been using Sonar 2.2xl with kx drivers, sblive and 98se for about 12 months and find that it works very well.
I run with 5.33 m/s latency. The Kx asio driver has yet to give me any problems. I'm currently using KX Version: 5, 10, 00, 3534.
I agree with mikeh. A keyboard amp is the way to go. If you compared your s90 sound from a guitar amp to a good keyboard amp you would hear a world of difference.
I use a Peavey KB/A 60 amp and it does the job and has a good sound. I would look around for a good secondhand keyboard amp for...
