We recorded the instrumental tracks in a studio but, since we won a single day in the studio, they didn't do a great job... Tha miking was awful. The rest was done in my home studio, with the cheap PG81 for vocals and mixing in Pro Tools. Thank you very much ;)

Do you mean that you like them? It was very hard to mix, the drums was too loud, even in the orchestra microphones... Here is the version pre-mastering, without compression:

This sunday I have to record female vocals tracks for a jazz big band demo cd. I have a room with good acoustic and a good interface but in the studio where I'm recording there isn't good microphones right now... Can you help me choosing the best one for a decent quality? Shure SM58 Shure Beta...
