The only processing is compression and little reverb on the snare and only a little eq on the toms. I agree about the heads, just wanted to see if this would be a fail before putting new heads on :)

Yup bearing edges with the reso heads. I always hated that era where the one drum head thing was popular. But we will see tomorrow when I throw a few mics on it.

Ill take the Rode if you can get for that price, but the SM57 should be a standard regardless. But grab it up for that price while you can.

Without casting judgment on the OP but the average person doesn't know what sounds good. We all know people who show you something that they think sounds good and its full of problems, show how it could sound and you change their world. You think what you recorded is amazing until you compare it...

I know everyone has a preference for a mic and pre so I don't want to get prejudged by my set up but just want to know if what I have is doing my voice justice. Take a listen see if you hear something that can be improved and ill post my set up. Been listening to my voice for too long so need...

Overall really good, the guitars are a little muddy, the snare has a nice sound to it but against the muddy sound it doesn't blend. Vocs sound good but to on top of the mix. I think the sound is there just needs a better mix.

I would say its a shame that people give more attention to a bad review just because its a girl but.....na :)

Nothing wrong with us girls wearing non prescription glasses for no reason :) And besides it gets her almost 100k views and no one cares about the mic.

The sites are kind of scary, just packed with chaos so I don't know what to make of them. Been a while since I used programs like that but I have used E-Jay and fruityloops studio. But with a name like yours it would seem like you would know something more :)
