I have an m-audio midisport 1x1 that suddenly stopped working on my macbook pro. The usb light on it doesn't even light up. It works still works fine on my PC. Any ideas? I've had this for years with never a problem.

I have a set of ION redline e-drums with a USB midi interface. I would like to control virtual software in a computer but am having problems. On a mac book pro, I'll get a few notes and then the driver stops responding and has to be reset. This is in garageband. On a windows 8.1 laptop, it works...
