thanks a lot...so i got back the old driver, and everything is working now, i got rid of the crackling....it was just the buffer size... but wat do i need to do to get the latest m-audio drivers to work?

where do i go to restore ?

=( my soundcard had a lot of crackling, so i deleted the driver and tried to start all over. so i restart and tried to install an updated driver from the m-audio website. while trying to install, i constantly get the error that says that i need to end other setups or programs...but im not...

any comments on mine?

hey, please check out the 2 songs: Stray from the Path - A Not So Modern Parasite, and Left Field Theory - Never Thought. you can only stream these songs...for now. please let me kno what you think. i kno about the guitars in Stray arent the greatest, but what the hell...

i tired putting it in another slot...but same results. stormblast...how did u do watever u did? (not like i know what that was anyway)

the primary was alreayd set to that, but the secondary wasn't...so i changed it, and also messed a little more with the dma buffer on the maudio control pannel...and it rid a lot of it for the audio cd's....but it's the same on the dvd's.

hey, whenever i play an audio cd or a dvd on my computer, i always hear a lot of clicks and pops. what could be wrong, and how do i fix this? it never happens with any media that is already on my computer...only the removable media... thanks for your help

im an idiot...i tried to give my cab the "mesa" and "marshall" sound....(really it's just with the celestions they use). i have 2 Vintage 30's on top and 2 G12t-75's on bottom. this way when i record a band they have a choice of two different speakers...or just me
