How do I reset the Tascam 2488 mk11 back to normal mode? I do not want to redo the hard drive. I used the mastering Technique on the 2488 and cannot get back to normal mode

Is there a battery in a Tascam 2488neo recorder? My unit will not record, play back or shut off, just stays on doing nothing. Message comes up, "cannot continue, still running, hit exit", I hit exit nothing happens. Any help? I am in upstate New York, anyone knowns of any repair shops for this...

I have two Roland VS-880's that will not record. One records only channel 2, 3, 5. the other does not record at all. Both where working perfectly until I started messing with effects on one channel at a time. The one that records, play back is correct, add effects to working channels is correct...
