    mix your own!

Thanks for listening! I've taken them down temporarily (for a few minutes) so that I can provide drum tracks that you don't have to line up. For my go at it, I used the MD 421 tracks. MD 421 to VTB1 to input on EDIROL FA-101.

    mix your own!

I've provided mp3's on my Amp Clips page of different mic/speaker combo's on a guitar cab. I've also provided bass and drum mp3's, if you feel like having fun with them. It's a short one, so the files will be pretty small. Here is my attempt.

    RSM-2, MD 421, i5

In the link in my signature you will find 6 new clips, 2 for each mic mentioned in the subject; 1 each on a Celestion Vintage 30, and 1 each on a Celestion G12T-75. All mics aimed at the edge of the dust cap. Mic pre is a Studio Projects VTB1.

Nady RSM-2 ribbon mic on Marshall 2203

Not a full mix, just rhythm guitars...but since this is an MP3 posting section, I figured it would be most appropriate to post it here. Pre is Studio Projects VTB1. I also need to work on my positioning with this mic, this clip's a bit dark for my tastes. It was about halfway between the dust...

    Toneport UX2 thoughts and review

"This thread is useless without clips!" :D Seriously, I'd love to hear a clip-r-two. Especially of the mic pre models.

Looking for a vocal harmonies effects box

That's a pretty asshole thing to say, but I must say I agree! :D I must also say, I nearly laughed out loud upon reading it.

Rock song (Voice to be recorded)

Sounds like you've got a good sound and a good balance to me! I also hear a hiccup at the fill around :23. I think the bass is fine, except I would have liked a bit more honk in it.

    Danzig's "Tired of Being Alive"

Thanks for listening, guys! The guitar is an LP Studio with EMG pickups straight into a Marshall 2203. The speaker cabinet is a 1960A in which I've replaced 2 of the Celestion G12T-75's with Vintage 30's. Left side rhythm guitar is an SM57 and an MD 421 each on its own G12T-75. Right side is...

    Danzig's "Tired of Being Alive"

Thanks for checking it out! Main vocals & background during the verses was: Behringer B1 -> Edirol FA-101 -> computer. I used the Classic Compressor from Kjaerhus Audio (http://www.kjaerhusaudio.com/classic-compressor.php) and followed the tips on that page. Background vocals during the...

    Danzig's "Tired of Being Alive"

Hello everyone! First post in this forum (if I recall correctly). Anyway, here's one I recently "completed" (yeah, like I won't be tweaking it any more...) As the title suggest it is "Tired of Being Alive" from Danzig II. I played & sang it all, but the drums are DFH 2. Check it out, and...
