Good That's a realy good price. I got mine two years ago and everything works. When my band plays out I use it to mix my drumer then run the mix through a compresser. Keeps the drums under good control. My drumber loves it. Later, Donny!!!

Mixers I have a Peavey 500 mixer that has tape in, maybe to small for what you need. It has 6 xlr, 4 stereo in's, 6 hi impidence in's and one tape in. Cost $300.00 new. I like it alot, very clean sound. Later, Donny!!!

Cakewalk I use the record button on the track I want too record to. Ya gota have both hands going at the same time but it works for me. I make demo's all the time this way. All I know is if it works don't mess with it. Later, Donny!!!

Virus Make sure you turn off any virus program you might have on. I had that trouble, turned it off and everything is working. Donny!!!

FD-4 I use the FD-4 all the time to record live and then I down load it to Cakewalk through the stereo out with a 1/8" adapter. You can only down load two tracks at a time. Do your mixing on the FD-4, or you can use it as a mixer and record stright to your computer. I use an ORB disk drive...

Intel Ya frank-1, I'm finding that the Intel CPUs seem to work better for the kind of work we do. I've never used a III but have two Celerons and I don't have any trouble with them. Later, Donny!!!
