Yep the same thing happened to my D2424LV... RADIO S***K cable! I took it in to a Fostex repair centern and 200 bucks later it works fine. thanks for the part number, I hope I never need it! Dom Franco

In your oppinion, is is better to compress the mix before running through final EQ, or vice versa? I've been experimenting with different routings and inserts. Even putting Compression on an effects send and mixing back in with full stereo mix... What do you think? :) Dom Franco

I have had problems with Hosa... But it has been my experience that All cables with molded ends eventually crap out. Spend a bit more and get some cables with soldered connectors (switchcraft) or better. Dom :)

You can purchase pre-drilled Rack rails at Guitar Center OR You can buy rack rails online at Musiciansfriend.com They are not very expensive. Attach thse rails to some wood planks (OAK is nice!) pine is cheaper... My racks look very nice and were very inexpensive to make. DOM :D

The Dan Electro tuna-melt is quiet... It's a great little Tremelo unit, and the extra Switch to a hard staccato tremelo is very useful as well. A great deal Dom ;)

It is a great machine and it has paid for itself many times over. I have used my D2424Lv to record several commercial CD projects, and made my money back for the unit many times over. On the other hand I spent a fortune on ADAT's and Tapes, and I couldn't give those junkers away... I kept one...

If you have the tracks why not? Accoustic guitars really come to life in stereo, Most keyboards have a stereo out. Drums should always be at least in stereo if not in multiple panned positions. I would tend to agree that lead vocals and bass guitar, are usually better centered (mono) but...

I have Two Kustom 200 Amp heads (tuck N Roll) from the 1970's I love the amp heads I would like to find some Speaker cabinets that match some day. I was too poor back in the 70's to buy the cabinets, so I made some plywood boxes for my Jensen speakers.... Dom
