Hi all, my name is Adam. I have been playing music for a very long time now but I am just now embarking upon my first venture into home recording. I have managed to come up with a pretty solid starter kit over the last few months and I think that I am now at the point that I can start laying down some tracks. I have a Tascam midistudio 688 (8 track analog recorder). A Makie CFX20 mixer w/built-in digital effects processor. A Boss ME20 guitar effects processor and 2x150w guitar amps, one a Pevey XXL and the other an Ibanex TBX150R. The process that takes place from sitting down, writing a song, working through the music and the arrangement to the engineering, production and recording is one that I could be happily absorbed into. All that being said, I am very much looking forward to learning all I can about the do it yourself home studio from all the fine people here and some good 'ol trial and error.

Listening to, playing, creating, sharing music and now trying to figure out how to lay it all down in tracks.......That and boobies
