    Grouping Tracks Won't Work

Right-click the "Item Edit Grouping" button on the main toolbar (the one that looks like a chain in REAPER 4) and select "Selecting one item selects group"

    REACOMP parameters?

Good find! That link reminds me of these posts: Cockos Confederated Forums - View Single Post - How to use a Compressor Cockos Confederated Forums - View Single Post - How to use a Compressor Great visuals! These links also show what ReaComp's "Classic Attack" looks like ;)

    REACOMP parameters?

I think I can help :) Pre-comp is a look-ahead option and will start compressing the signal x milliseconds before the signal actually reaches the compressor. As for classic attack: I believe it has a different attack shape than the default and is there for compatibility with older projects from...

    Reaper Tutorials

Have you been to the Tutorials For Reaper website? If not, start at the bottom of the last page and work your way backwards. He also takes requests for tutorials. Very nice  Kenny Gioia also made a great set of REAPER tutorials for Groove3 not too long ago. There's also the official User...

Zooming in on a Track - Brain farting here.. HELP

Hmm... I don't think double-clicking would ever open the wav in a new window (unless you maybe had an external editor set?) There are a few things you could try, though. * Double-clicking the scrollbars for different zoom sizes * Mousewheel * ~ (shift + `) * clicking and dragging the bottom...

Can i import omf files into reaper??

Actually, REAPER does not support OMF out of the box. Though, there has been work on a plugin to import OMF files into REAPER. You can find that here: ***UPDATED*** preliminary OMF Support - Cockos Confederated Forums Otherwise, as mentioned in that thread, the best option is to use...

    Pro Tools / Reaper compatibility

What they said ^^ If you're looking to convert sessions, try AATranslator I've never used it, but the main developer is on the REAPER forums all the time and from what I hear from others, it works great. They recently added importing from PT9! If you don't want to convert your...

    Manual entry of fader levels

I *think* you can right-click the fader for a manual entry. Maybe not though, I use a controller so it's been a while.. Something to try anyway. :)

Really obnoxious editing behavior. Can I change it? (images)

That is weird.. it may have been a bug in v3.11. Why not upgrade to the latest? (v3.75) You could use right-click+drag to select multiple items.

    Quantizing Midi after recording..

I'm not super big into MIDI, but I believe it works like this: [example] You're recording a keyboard part and moving a CC knob on your MIDI controller to change the sound of a VSTi. Now you want to move some notes after you've recorded it. This option will allow the CC messages you recorded...

    Quantizing Midi after recording..

I'm sure if you right-click there's a menu for it. Keyboard shortcuts are just easier for me to remember :D

    Quantizing Midi after recording..

Double-click your MIDI item to open the MIDI Editor window. Now press Q on your keyboard. A quantize settings window should appear :) If you want to humanize, I believe you can press H in the MIDI Editor.

    Drum Trigger?

Nope it's for both. REAPER has it's own native plugin scripting language called JS. I'm not at my desk right now so this is going to be a little vague, but in the Options menu there should be something along the lines of "open resource path in explorer/finder." That will open REAPER's settings...
