You should be able to get some simple connections i.e Radioshck etc...Y-Cables to plug your headphones in rather than tampering..Never tried it though.....
I agree with dragon (ie-hardware problem)
A couple of weeks back I posted a topic referring to this very same noise...It seems that MD looses it's quality after a while..I don't know if this problem is serviceable but I'm actually going to take it back to my dealer tomorrow....Good luck on...
That's kind of hard there man...i don't know about the display settings...but it seems to me that CLEANis limited when it comes to the functions you described....I believe it's primary purpose is to clean up old recordings and tape transfers for the general user. It does not allow you to split...
Whatever you do don't go out and buy a soundblaster live...I've learned the hard way that there is much better equipment out there for just about the same price...A lot of people talk about he Event/Echo Cards(or now some variation of the sort)--Gina/layla...I've heard Aardvark is pretty good...
I completely agree with the above, but in the mean time it might help if you establish a listening point. listen to other speakers and establish a point on your own that is as close to flat as possible...If your bass is a little too heavy, turn it down a bit...likewise with the rest of the...
I guess this message is simply to investigate the process behind a remix. This is posted also in the cubase user forum but after the fact I realized it might not be properly addressed there....
I have an original tune on 12"
I also have a tune over the same'riddim' done by the same artist here...
This post reminds me of something my grandfather used to say... "STICKS AND SONES CAN BREAK YOUR BONES BUT WORDS CAN NEVER HARM YOU". Felt the need to reply because I noticed that although we can cry censorship and believe in "harmful words as as a mere illusion", we often get offended when...
I need some advice...The task is a remix....
1)I have an original release (i.e.-original release on 12"
2)I also have a recording of the same song done by the artist on multitrack!
3)I want to take certain parts of both songs and mix them together.
4)I am unable to multitrack within cubase b/c...
The subject of warmth seems to be an issue...Rather than explain it might be easier to show...but how???? The choice of formats is always a bonus..I can assure you, it's not a mental thing...Unless my mind is playing tricks on me...I hear the differences 'live' more than anything else...When I...
This is not a question, nor is it an answer. Why is it up here then? Just to give a shout to drstawl---A couple weeks back, we had a discussion regarding the actual and percieved advantages of mini-disc (the compression process involvolved in mini-disc formats, undeniably results in a loss of...
I've come across Steinberg Clean! It's a fairly easy program to use simply because it is slider based, and previews in real time. Essentially, all you have to do is listen for what you think is the right sound. A de-clicker (for pops and scratches; a de- noiser for 'air'; and bass/brilliance...
I wish I had that 10,000.....But if you got it, all the more power to you. To me, a number of factors would be involved before making a serious decision with that money. All in all, I would say do both. A good PC base should run you about $2500(CAN), & an ADAT, I would assume about the...
I was just wondering what the scorpion module is in VST. Switching it on and off, or playing w/ the funcions doesn't seem to be making any audible difference.. Is it just my ears or what?
In Cool Edit are you recording directly to the multitrack environment?....If you are, try recording as a straight .wav and drop into the multitrack later..
