here's something else to consider: if you really like the rhythm tone when you solo the track and want to keep some sembelance of it, find out what frequencies your guitar track are hot in, then cut those frequencies on the bass and kick drum track. if you have a heavily mid-cut guitar sound...

at this point it could be anything. if you could post a sound clip, that would help. i'm wondering if you have a bad tube in your distortion channel. maybe try swapping it with another. when the speaker coils are going out, it sounds like crap on all the channels and the clean has this muddy...

bong hits will take care of all that....except #4, they just make that sound cooler. :D

i've actually found some good tabs just doing a google search. i've found some really crappy ones too. i hit the tab sites AND youtube if a tune is giving me trouble.
