Did you even check any of those links? Yeah a lot hits show up but they either point to the Digidesign page that doesn't exist anymore or the page that says 'page not found'.

I'm at work now so i can't tell you the exact menu but in the same panel where you set up the metronome. There is an option to have a count in. Turn that off or make the measures 0. I think the menu is Options then Project. Or maybe Options then Global.
