I use 3 mics when I record violin. Trying to remember which ones are in the picture. I'm hunting for my notes. I believe one mic is the Shure KSM42 but I'm not sure what the spaced pair is ATM

I just use a Zoom H4N and get excellent results. You can plug in what ever mic you want as well as it has to phantom powered inputs as well as the built in mic I recorded this with it https://www.youtube.com/edit?o=U&feature=vm&video_id=tgluKXOxh6U
