I have written a few tunes. The last one I did has gotten some local buzz since I have performed it. People have been asking me for copies and I have been leary since I don't have any copyrite to it. Can someone tell me what or where I need to do or go to have my material protected? Any help...

The other night I was recording and all of a sudden I got a loud buzzing noise in the monitor spreakers. It only does this when the tape is on or the tape outputs are turned up. When you are using the recorder for a "mixer", no noise. If you touch the head when playing, it does not do this...
