Some of you may have known about this, but for those who didn't....
If the 1820M has too many I/O for you, the 1616M CAN be used with either laptop, or desktop, thanks for a PCI-Cardbus converter.

I purchased one off EBay, for $199 plus shipping, and recieved it today.
I gotta say, for $199, I really cant complain.
Its not the best interface, less so than the Motu 828MKII, but for $199, shit was a no brainer.
I've decided to open a small time studio to the public, as soon as 2006.
Here is the gear I'll be working with, feel free to suggest anything I may need, or be missing, as all of this gear has been paid off now, and I still have money to spend.
Computer:
AMD 64 3200+,1Gig,160GB Audio, 80GB...
I contacted the people at Focusrite, to see what converters this interface would use, and tis is they're response.
DAC is a Cirrus 42428
ADC is a National ADCS7478

I've heard the debate back and forth on which Lynx card offered better quality, the L22, or Lynx Two, so I contacted Lynx myself, and here is what they had to say.
