ok guys,
a conversation we had in a thread last week has got me concerned.
i "poor-man's" copyright all my work. but now i fear this is not good enough. ie. its not the bullet proof indisputable copyright technique i thought it was.
what steps do i need to take to properly copyright about 40...
ok, which version of this do you like better:
"primary" version:
http://www.drumfish.com/albums/drumfish%20-%20under%20under%20hill%20-%2008%20-%20such%20a%20fine%20time.mp3
or
"alternate" version:

i posted this one in the songwriting forum already, but i like the more technically oriented critique this forum offers.

i am getting ready to buy a triton.. but which is more bang for the buck? the hard core all encompassing studio model? or the le?
i play piano fairly well, i am into midi sequencing and want to start getting really proficient with sequencing drums in particular.
given that, what do you guys...
ive always relied on my drummer for matters of percussion and drumming.
now i wish to learn how to sequence drums for myself with Sonar 2.2XL. I havent got a very clear idea of how to go about it though.
can anyone driect me to a bank of drum samples and recommend to me a nice convenient way...
here is a song of mine i am proud of...
whady'all think of it?

no i don't believe the things you tell me
can't believe the things you say are really true
and i ask you, ask me what it is i've said to turn you
what you've learned seems far from...
is any one using the PC as a place for tracking to? But then using an analog board and out board gear (rather than effects plugins and mouse controlled faders) for mixing.
If so... is there a noticable loss in quality since there is A/D (initial tracking) then a D/A(mixing playback) and yet...
