I have been looking everywhere online for a replacement SLM 6" midrange for a crate speaker cabinet. I found your OLD post about being an authorized repair shop for SLM and Eminence drivers.
I'm specifically looking for a replacement for a Crate PS-1208H. There are 2 models of that cabinet. I have the single 12" driver in mine (unsure if the mids are the same however).
86-124-08 is the SLM part number. The maginet broke loose (as it did on another unit as well... common I suppose).
Just need a replacement unit. I tried to epoxy it back together. The other one works great. This one scrapes inside the magnet. I did try to straighten the thin aluminum wall tube that goes into the magnet. No luck. Impossible to get it precise.
If you can help, I would appreciate it. Hate to replace with radio shack mids, but may have to otherwise.
