  • Ha yes, as much as I love alt country, I don't think it would travel across the atlantic too well. Might come across a little affected.

I'll leave a sub-genre label for someone else to name - if anything comes to you, do let me know :D
"Acid Fried Country sounds awesome! I checked Soundcloud and they didn't offer that as a genre option :( "

Yeah, I have a feeling I might have made that sub-genre up! :D

It does kind of evoke the spirit of something though - both in your sound and that of some other bands I like.

I don't know if you know Phosphorescent, but I'd put them under this label too. They've done some excellent stuff over recent years, so I thought you might be interested in them if not,

Clear out your inbox, will you! I can't get a hold of you and haven't gotten a message back from you since the last one I wrote.
Awesome - thanks squibble. Yes, some of us have been at this for so long now we're bound to get better just through osmosis or something.
Hey! I haven't been on the forums in quite some time now, but I just wanted to say I'm still jamming to your songs. It's awesome to hear the progression of your music/recording/mixing. The Faster We Go is definitely a hit! Anyway, just passing through. Have a good one!
About a week ago I completed the belt repair to my 688. When I wrote you the note that day I was half way threw it. I did indeed finish it off a few hours latter. Thanks I now have new challenges. I since then took other deck I have a part my 244 tascam. I was able to find the 2 belts and get them on thanks to the 688 practice. I now discovered that the pinch roller is bad. I'm actually wearing it on most of all my finger tips, BLACK tar. I would like to find this part. Can you help me out with this? I don't know how to find you again maybe? Or to see your replies. Hopefully somehow I can figure it out? Regards Rick

    Heatmiser -
Long ago when I first came to HR, you had a song in the mp3 clinic called can of beer and that was the first thing I had heard in the clinic.
Almost a year later that song is still stuck in my head :D
Just wanted to stop by to congratulate you on one of the catchiest songs I've heard haha ;)
Hey Pete ... thanks for the kind words. I didn't want to bump the thread undeservedly, so I thought I'd respond to your last post privately.

Wayne Glaser from RP did that bass part on my direction that he did it a la "McCartney"

    You were spot on.
