Have you had any involvement with TAXI? I'm seriously thinking about taking the couple hundred buck plunge for next year- been slowly working on assembling a small 'catalog' of tunes (mine, collabs, and by others)- I have someone who's willing to buy the mechanical licenses for short runs (including the annual fee for TAXI), etc, etc, blah, blah.... aside from TAXI's ads, I know of no one personally who belongs (past or present)
I don't want to completely be wasting someone elses $$$$

I'd wondered myself. JPW says there was an explosion at the place where the servers resided, and thousands of servers are down. No ETA for getting them back up either.
