  • Hello out there. I have recently reactivated Cubase LE4 after struggling with it a year or so ago and replacing my computer. I am using it with a Tascam 144 interface. I have managed to set everything up and have recorded some audio and also imported some wave files. Over the past few days I have tried to connect up to my Roland D20 to use as a controller and tried to get to grips with the midi side of things. I have managed to record and play back a drum track but I think it was more luck than skill. I am having problems with Tempo and syncronization and am also unsure what the midi settings should be between my keyboard and the Cubase programme. Can anyone give me some advice as to how I should be set up and any info at all on basic midi set ups would be much appreciated.
Sorry to sound a bit thick but I just cannot work it out by my self and it is doin my head in

    Thanks in advance Phil

P.S. it probably stands out like a sore thumb but I am quite new to this type of recording
