No offense, C9. Your question is legitimate and valid.
But what the hell is up with all the "What's the best vocal mic?" questions? It's not like the topic hasn't been covered, and it isn't like there's really anything new to be said or added.
With that in mind, I'll share with you a few strategies that will likely yield you greater success in your best vocal mic quest:
* Since you are asking what the better vocal mic is, try
qualifying it a little more. In other words, you might want to mention
what kind of voice/voices you will be recording. Male? Female? Barritone? Tenor? Soprano?
Is he/she a screamer? A crooner? Is he/she breathy? Stern? Aggressive/passive?
You may even go a step further by letting on what kind of music it will be used in context with. Rock? Jazz? Pop? etc.
Here is a success tale from someone who did it the right way. He even got bonus points by including a sample of his voice. That's going the extra mile.

* Another strategy would be to
ask people to compare and contrast some mics, and see if anyone has anything interesting to say. The key is
not using words like "best" or even "better," for that matter (unless you provide heaps and heaps of detail regarding your application). Here's a very good, recent example:

Notice how at no time did he mention the word "best" or phrases like "best for vocals," etc.
Another strategy might be to pick one of the mics and ask if anyone has it and/or likes it . . . and what do they like it on, etc.
