i,ve been recording at home for a few years now, doesn,t mean that i'm good at it, but i never posted a song anywhere for feedback. using studio one and would like to get help ,in detail, for posting a song into HRF for feedback. i mean, i absolutely have no clue how to do this. i can post to sound cloud and then i'm lost.. url? ,any help very appreciated. i'm in my 60's so tech stuff sometimes overwhelms me.

Basically, go through these menus: "Song -> Export Mixdown", fill out the details about the filename, filetype to export, whether or not to upload to Soundcloud, and what range over the audio events to include in the mixdown (Start->End markers, or between Loop, etc.)

Of course, if you published to Soundcloud, you can link it here. You could also upload an audio file, or if you have your own website, could upload there and link to it from here, etc.

Easiest thing is to start a thread here:
https://homerecording.com/bbs/general-discussions/mp3-mixing-clinic/

And in it just copy and paste the link from your browser's address bar (the little thingy at the top that shows what page you are looking at) when you are on the Soundcloud page containing your song.

From within the song application,

Song > Export Mixdown

Select your file options, then go. Don't forget to set up markers for start and end times in the song app.
