Acoustic tiles do wonders for the sound... as does egg-crate style foam...

so you want a soundproof vocal booth?

    about 2-3metres by 2-3metres?

You don't want foam, tiles, or blankets. The best absorbtion is with covered semi-rigid fiberglass.

Now what sort of a vocal booth are you looking for? Do you want isolation or absorbtion? full construction, freestanding, or temporary panels?

This is in no way designed as a high-end solution, but it worked for me and can be assembled/disassembled quickly and is cheap:

does that sound booth work really well????

It looks pretty versatile and easy to set up. I was thinking of mounting a couple 703 panels on cheap mic stands using a PA speaker bracket on the top of the mic stands. so that I can move them around. The only problem, is building them so that you can put them close enough so that the panels touch but the tri-pod legs dont get caught up on each other.

what did all of the materials for that PVC set up cost you?? Thanks.

It looks like a cheap and working vocal booth. I'm still finding a way to build a cheap vocal booth...

    I don't even have a tracking room.

    Good lucks.

I have that exact material on a sliding closet door. Works nice.

How would I show a plan without a diagram? Hmmmmm.... And what do you mean... "get" them? Get off your ass and "get" them yourself Ya got two legs and a keyboard. Shhheeeezus. BTW...theres a fucking search button...I drew them myself. Fuck.

does that sound booth work really well????
Define.."work really well"? In what way...Knock down? Absorption coeffecint? Isolation? The door latch? ?Doesn't fall through the second floor? Available in any dumpster? Can get it through the front door? No standing waves at 2hz? Won't burn you to death because the latch wouldn't open? Oh, I forgot, can you breath after 2 minutes? Hmmmm, damn light went out? Oh, I didn't see the switch? But my sister can hear me in the next room...really well?
alright breaks over, back on your heads!
